Terms of Use

These terms govern use of Ledgerlyne, provided by Seminole Winds Technology. By downloading, subscribing to, or using Ledgerlyne, you agree to these terms and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these terms conflict with Apple's standard EULA, Apple's terms control where required.

Ledgerlyne service

Ledgerlyne provides bookkeeping registers, double-entry postings, reconciliations, spreadsheet import, and financial reports. It is a recordkeeping tool, not a bank, payroll processor, tax preparer, legal adviser, or certified public accountant.

Your responsibility for records

You control where Ledgerlyne files and backups are stored. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter or import, reviewing generated reports, protecting access to devices and storage accounts, keeping appropriate backups, and retaining records required by law. Always have a qualified professional review information used for tax filings, payroll, lending, or other consequential decisions.

Monthly subscription

Ledgerlyne is offered as an auto-renewable monthly subscription. The United States base price is $9.99 per month; Apple displays and charges the localized price for the subscriber's storefront. Payment is charged to the Apple ID at confirmation. The subscription automatically renews unless canceled through Apple before the end of the current billing period. Apple controls billing, refunds, price-change consent, and cancellation.

Account

Sign in with Apple connects the phone and desktop apps and separates one customer's books from another customer's books. You are responsible for your Apple account and may not use Ledgerlyne to access a file you do not own or have permission to use.

Acceptable use

You may not reverse engineer Ledgerlyne except where law permits, bypass subscription or ownership controls, use the service to violate law or another person's rights, introduce malicious code, or interfere with the service.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Ledgerlyne reliable, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. Operating-system, Apple, Dropbox, iCloud, or other provider changes may affect a feature. We may update Ledgerlyne to improve security, compatibility, or functionality.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ledgerlyne is provided “as is” without warranties not expressly required by law. Seminole Winds Technology is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate user input, failure to review reports, loss of access to user-controlled storage, or unauthorized access resulting from credentials or files the user shares. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Termination

You may stop using Ledgerlyne and delete your login account at any time. Account deletion does not cancel Apple billing or remove files from user-controlled storage. We may suspend access for material violation of these terms where permitted by law.
